ehThe improved camera on every new iPhone is perfect for snapping stunning photos. It’s important to remember that the greater the resolution of your iPhone Storage photos and videos, the more space they’ll require to store.
With this in mind, having a generous amount of storage on your iPhone is more crucial than ever. Apple, thankfully, allows its users a fair degree of leeway in determining how much storage they need.

The biggest size, one terabyte, provides roughly twice as much space as the 512 GB option.
In general, a photo taken using the iPhone’s primary camera will be around 2MB (or 0.002GB) in size. To put it another way, 500 photos will fill up a gigabyte. Depending on their function and frequency of use, apps might be as small as 2MB or as large as 2GB.
In addition, crucial system files always consume a few gigabytes of space, and these files cannot be deleted or compressed.
In other words, how much storage do I need on my iPhone?
Storage capacities vary depending on the model of iPhone you purchase. Which one do you think is best for you?
For most users, storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB are preferable. They have adequate space for thousands of photos, hours of storage, and a wide variety of useful videos.
Only buy something with 128GB of storage space now. Now that app photos and image file sizes have both grown, you may soon need more storage space.
If you’re a professional photographer or plan to use your iPhone as your primary gaming system, consider upgrading to 512GB. Even still, it’s overkilled for casual users.
For those who often capture 4K or 8K video with their iPhones and have nowhere else to store it, a 1TB iPhone may be a must. You only need 1TB if your life and livelihood depend on a single iPhone.
More data can be stored in iCloud.

If you’ve already bought an iPhone, don’t feel accepted into the amount of storage space you initially paid for.
Your iPhone may use the 5GB of free online storage space offered by iCloud when you sign up for a free Apple ID. You can increase your storage space from 5GB to 50GB ($0.99 per month), 200GB ($2.99 per month), or 2TB ($9.99 per month) if you’re ready to pay a monthly charge.
Access your iCloud settings by opening the Settings app on your iPhone, selecting your name at the very top, and then selecting iCloud from the list of options that appear.
The Optimize iPhone Storage option is one of the best you can turn. If you turn this on, your device will not save any of the photos or videos you take. In this case, only a preview will be kept, and when you access the photo or video in the Photos app, the full version will be downloaded automatically. With this method, you can avoid losing data while saving a lot of space (in gigabytes).
You can turn this feature by opening the iCloud settings, clicking Photos, and then choosing the Optimize iPhone Storage option..
