March Madness Video Games

There are quite a few March Madness video games on the market. Below we take a look at a few March Madness video games.

NCAA Basketball 10

If you’ve been playing video games for a while, you would know about NCAA basketball 10, which was developed by EA Canada. The basketball video game was published by Electronic Arts and was released in 2009.

The game was specifically released for Xbox 360 users and PlayStation 3. Within the video game, you’ll find the University of Oklahoma, which also focuses on Blake Griffin, who can be found on the cover.

NCAA College Basketball 2K3

It’s 2002, and we’re all obsessed with college basketball. At this time, Xbox had taken over the console scene leaving any of us able to buy video games, and one of them was NCAA College Basketball 2K3.

NCAA Basketball 2K3 had an ESPN setup, making it extremely interesting, especially for those who were already playing NBA 2K3. At the time, this video game was also used for marketing Live Up as a type of franchise. What everyone loved about this particular video game is that it offered more teams and gave off a type of realistic appearance by having shiny floors, which are notorious at basketball courts. We can’t forget how we all loved playing Chris Hill, as he was one of the best characters in the game, especially when you had all the cheat codes.

College Hoops 2K8

If there’s any video game that was loved among the NCAA college basketball videos, it’s College Hoops 2K8. 2K8 gave all of us something different and was way ahead of its time in terms of what it achieved in gameplay.

The visuals of College Hoops 2K8 were extremely imaginative while also giving many of us the matching peerless presentation that left us coming back for more. Not only did the software developers of College Hoops 2K8 have amazing visual concepts, but their gameplay modes were specifically created for the fan, making it easier for all of us to play.

If you were in Legacy mode, then you allowed yourself to join a struggle. Unfortunately, this came from a limited selection, but it is good nonetheless. The more skills and points you get, the easier it will become for you to move up in teams and eventually join the university of your dreams or simply create your dynasty.

You also had coach access which had a direct effect on the points and stats of the team. If you weren’t playing video games in 2007, then you might think that the visuals weren’t as revolutionary, but at its time, this game was one of the best things that happened, especially during March Madness.

NCAA Basketball 10

If there was ever a game that had us all waiting for its release, it was NCAA Basketball 10. Basketball 10 was released in November 2009 and was developed by EA Canada. At the time, this video game was only available for Xbox and PlayStation three, making it a lot more popular than a few other games.

Unfortunately, this franchise mode didn’t make it very far, and we never saw a new release of this game; however, the concepts of the game were extremely fun, even though the visuals were not as good as some of the 2K games.
